Great turn out for the St Valentine 30k Race

750 competitors ran in The Stamford Striders' St Valentine 30K Race on Sunday 13th February - this is the flagship event organised by the Club.  RCS Logistics were pleased to be the official sponsors for the 2011 race and Phil Mitchell, Managing Director of RCS Logisitics cheered on the runners!

Competitors travel the length and breadth of the country to compete on the hilly, challenging course, taking in some of the nicest rural lanes of South Lincolnshire.

2011 is its 18th year and, although limited to 750 runners it always sells out early. A very popular race, especially for runners competing in spring marathons who use it as a training how-goes-it run, it has worked its way up to 19th in the Runners World list of 100 Top UK Races from feedback from entrants.
